Is this colour palette tool free?

Is my photo uploaded?
No. The image is read into a canvas in your browser and the colours are counted locally, so nothing is ever uploaded.
How are the colours chosen?
The tool counts the most common colours in the image and merges near-duplicates, so the swatches read as a real palette rather than several shades of the same tone. Pick 4 to 12 colours.
Can I copy an exact pixel colour?
Yes — hover the photo to eyedrop any pixel and click to copy its HEX or RGB value. You can also copy the whole palette as CSS variables.
