The service
ClearBG provides free, browser-based image tools (background removal, upscaling, cropping, conversion, and more). The tools run on your device; we don't host or store your files. The service is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use.
Your content & responsibilities
You are responsible for the images you process and must have the right to use them. Don't use ClearBG to create unlawful, infringing, or harmful content. Because processing happens entirely in your browser, you retain full ownership of your images and their outputs.
Passport & ID photos
The passport / ID photo tool is a free helper, not an official government service. While it produces common official sizes, requirements vary and change. Always confirm your government's exact rules before submitting a photo. We are not responsible for rejected applications.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that results will be perfect, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClearBG and its creator are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
